Anna Isola has been working in Hangvető since 2019 as an international culture strategy and project consultant. Her main responsibilities include building up and strengthening the company’s international relations and creating cultural strategies across European cities through the European Capital of Culture (ECoC) initiative, the UNESCO Creative Cities Network and individual cities in order to foster collaboration in the cultural field. Anna is a proud alumni of the Global Cultural Relations Programme of the EU. Prior that she worked in the European Commission as a cabinet member in the team of the European Commissioner for Education, Culture, Youth and Sport for 5 years. She was responsible for the culture portfolio and coordinated the European Year of Cultural Heritage in 2018. Besides liaising with the Hungarian media and other stakeholders, she was in charge of Hungarian press and relevant communication activities.
