Furat Qaddouri is one of the world’s most prominent Qanoon player and composer, (www.furatmusic.com). His musical journey started from an early stage as he comes from a family of musicians. In 2012 Furat Qaddouri Music Center (www.furatmusiccenter.com) was founded by the artist himself, he’s also the founder of Sharjah World Music Festival, one of the most famous music festivals in the UAE (www.sharjahmusic.com) and Jazz at the Island Festival, all based in Sharjah UAE / Emirates. In 2018 he continued to expand on his musical journey by establishing Real Music – Dubai (www.realmusic.ae) a foundation and organization aimed at developing the local musical scene, through cross-cultural and cross-genre exchange, by booking talents and introducing them in the Middle East, mainly in United Arab Emirates.
