Tom runs English Folk Expo (EFEx), which champions the folk, roots and acoustic music sector in England. EFEx deliver showcases, live events, artist mentoring, industry training, audience development and more. Amongst other things, EFEx run Manchester Folk Festival, host online learning platforms and produce the UK Official Folk Albums Chart. Tom is a member of the European Music Business Task Force, the Greater Manchester Music Commission and on the Steering Group of Manchester Music City. He is also an elected politician.
