Krisztina BORSFAY (Ph.D.) is a psychologist and music therapist. As a teacher and researcher, she is a faculty member of the Institute of Intercultural Psychology and Education of Eötvös Loránd University of Science. She also works as a psychodrama group leader, and a music therapist, using music as a therapeutic tool for both methods. In the course of her work, she uses both active music therapy, where playing music is applied as a therapeutic tool, and receptive music therapy, where listening to music and analyzing subjective musical experiences afterwards are used as the means of healing.
She has several years of experience in music therapy work with addicted youth through her work at the Megálló Group Foundation, but in addition, she dealt with music therapy for children with special educational needs, as well as music therapy for adults and children with various psychological problems, within the framework of institutional and private care.
