Amaro Duho

Newly launched Amaro Duho is rooted in the decades-long musical experience of Matild Dobi. Her voice has enriched the sound of productions such as Ando Drom, Amaro Suno and Oláh Gypsy Beats, now she decided to set up her own band. Her children accompany the seasoned vocalist in a spirited rendition of the vlach gypsy heritage, true to their name: Amaro Duho – ‘our souls’.

Budapest Ritmo is a member of UPBEAT, the European showcase platform for world music, the showcase programme is supported and powered by UPBEAT. The showcase programme consists of 40-minute performances by jury-selected up and coming world music artists and performers. Entry to the showcase concerts is free of charge.
