Veronika Varga (vocals) and Benedek R\u00e9ti (accordion) did meet in Budapest though, and perhaps served the patrons of a <em>kafana <\/em>with heartfelt melodies in a previous life. They deliver a whiff of the old times, popular Balkan tunes in skilled and impassioned rendition..&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Budapest Ritmo is a member of UPBEAT, the European showcase platform for world music, the showcase programme is supported and powered by UPBEAT. The showcase programme consists of 40-minute performances by jury-selected up and coming world music artists and performers.
